hi all, the x1 is supposed to have 30fps vga, i do not seem to acheive that.

I have tried many different option like hard reset, recording to internal and sd card storage, different resolutions, high frame rate etc but all my recordings ome out jerky, video stuttering but the audio seems fine.

is there a regitry setting we can alter to improve the quality and fps?
or are there any other softwares we can use for vidoe recording?

Any help appreciated, thanks

It's the format in which videos are recorded: 3gp. They should have give mp4 format and video recording would have been good!!

Thanks,

The device does not even state what format it records in, very lacking in the cam area by SE and HTC.

Any idea of any third party app that can record better quality?

I once found a freeware for WM2003SE, quite basic but worked well. So far no luck for WinMo 6.1.

Surely there must be some mod to add additional codecs etc..
