It seems you can only send one contact at a time, via Bluetooth.
Great. |

Yes, from my W960. I did with S700 > W900 > W960. But the Satio only recognises the first contact. I even sent the backup file to the Satio and it only reads the first contact.
I have to honest, it's quite an awkward phone to use. |

that's not a good point. maybe there's a symbian app for that purpose.

I might be able to sync it with the PC. But it's worked fine all these years. What's changed? |

I just synchronized it with Outlook on my PC, and it had done everything in about five seconds.

He means receiving all contacts on Satio, not sending.

via bt no way everything u receive ends up as message and u need to save the items one by one. Rather sonyericsson.com/user or any sync or backup service... or outlook... what about myphone xplorer? |

Great.
Go to Menu > Internet > Settings > choose your location > then your phone model > Sync & My Content > if you have registration click Sign in (or Register if you haven't).
Then write your phone number in international format (+44....) then remember PIN and just wait settings from Sony Ericsson.
After receiving settings go to Menu > Contacs > Options > Sync. contacs

sending contacts from SE to SE has never been a problem but remember that this time, SE is using nokia's S60. your problem seems like the same frustrating thing i had when i got an N97 and tried transferring contacts from my P1.
the best way to do it, which i did with my N97, was to use mobical, which you can access here: https://www.mobical.net/
create an account, download the sync settings to your old phone and sync it, then do the same with your Satio, and presto! problem solved! or so i hope...
good luck! |

The best and quickest way is to sync your existing phone with Outlook then sync your Satio with Outlook my W960 to Nokia 5800 switch took 10 mins max, but I do have 1,000 contacts (Business!) and a huge calendar (also Business!)
I guess a normal sync with the Nokia sync SW would take seconds, on that subject another moan! I hope give you Satio owners better sync SW this time round, my W960 struggles through a simple sync in around 8 mins! my Nokia 5800 can accomplish the same in 2mins!!!!!!! Sony SW sucks!
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

Putting contacts to your new phone can really be that of a burden? Can't you just put your simcard into your new phone then just copy them all. Was it really that tedious? Really? |
