Don't have the phone but think BST-33 is 900 mAh Sony Produscts BST-33 Sorry to be fussy but it's an early area of concern I've read in some reviews. |

The BST-33 battery has changed over time (not sure why they didn't give a new number for each).
I think it started at 900mAh, then 950 and now 1000mAh. I can assure everyone that the models on sale now that use this battery (and there are many) are 1000mAh. Not sure how they've squeezed more in, but there was a thicker version made for one of the UIQ handsets, but I can't remember the capacity.
Now, the most important thing is the power consumption of the various models that use the battery. The Satio is quite power hungry, to put it mildly.

It's hard to give any realistic data. When I first got it, I was playing with it all the time - installing stuff, watching films, playing BBC iPlayer etc etc.
Clearly when you begin to use it 'normally', as well as having charged the battery a few times, it should perform better - but if you've got it syncing your contacts, email and calendar - getting the latest Tweets, checking Facebook, watching films... well, it's going to die just like any other multimedia device. Oh, and using the camera and Xenon flash a lot...
But you have to accept it, and I've accumulated a fair few BST-33 batteries, so I'd simply carry a spare so I could properly enjoy the phone without holding back.

You should have bought it on Pay as you go!
I got mine from them yesterday, 400 unlocked and with no branding, the only difference is they bundle an orange sim card with it!
I saved 100!
