Ok before u all have a go at me about searching, I have had a look but not sure the exact software I need so that my PC can understand the extentions for playing ring tones and listening to my sound recordings etc...

download ringtone composer from christersson.org or coding workshop ringtone converter... it can play yer ringtones... as for wav files, just use the plain old windows xp sound recorder.
