Hi guys!
Edoom for P800 was released lately, and the author was also able to reassing the buttons... Now, wouldn't that be cool to have e.g. the messages assigned to the browser button? If somebody could just write an app to do that...
http://www.yipton.demon.co.uk/content.html is where to find EDoom

Wrong assumption here. In Doom any button can be configured as long as you're in the game. It's done tru the Option/Controls menu. On a PC that's also the case. So it's already in the Doom source code to do this. When you excit Doom everything returns to normal.

Look at the PsiInt screen capture program. It let's you choose the cam button or browser button to take screenshots. That's a different story. Somehow this application overrides the buttons and it can work in the background.

Uh, sorry... What post? Didn't get no pm, if that's what you mean...

Considering that "Doom does it" - Stuff...
Nope, don't think so. If Doom can do it, then any app SHOULD be able to do that. If the device wouldn't allow it at all, not even Doom could change those buttons, right?

BTW: Sorry it took my so long to answer, wasn't near a computer for a few days...
