This topic is for nokia s40 series users.. I recommend to open this topic via PC..
If you r a nokia s40 user prov file is the answer if you want to have free a browing technique on your mobile phone using Opera Mini & other browsing Applications like Bolt, ucweb, T-shark, etc.
New tricks discovered almost everyday by using a proxy address, but the problem is s40 phones cant edit proxy address in their access points so that they can use browsing applications..
S40 nokia phones can only edit proxy address in the phones built-in browsing only. well of course using application for browsing is better than built-in browsing.
Q: what is a .prov file?
A: prov file is a configuration for s40 nokia phones to be able to connect using a proxy address for java applications. prov file contains a proxy address & a port (my own definition)
Now Im gonna show how to make a .prov file
but first download this prov file editor ClickME
Step 1
extract it then a folder named s40proxy will appear
open it then run s40proxy.cmd
a window will appear
there you will see the..
NAME OF CONFIGURATION
parn name="NAME" value="S40Proxy"
change the S40proxy example myGlobe CONNECT, SmartInternet etc.
there there I put Smart operamini well thats the name of the prov file that you will see in the s40 nokia phone under Default config. sett.
Step 2
Then scroll down you will see the..
PROXY ADDRESS
parn name="PXADDR" value"global-4-lvs-seele.opera-mini.net"
you can change the proxy after value" "/> put any working proxy address IP numeric or Alpha (like screenshot above)
example if numeric: parn name="PXADDR" value"208.85.242.221"
example if Alpha: parn name="PXADDR" value"flyproxy.com"
Step 3
Then scroll down you will see the..
PROXY PORT
parn name="PORTNBR" value="80"
well this is easy almost all new tricks use the port 80
Step 4
scroll down you will see the (this is final)
ACCESS POINT
parn name="NAP-ADDRESS" value="internet"
this part is the most important because this is the APN of the prov file..
SMART APN: internet
GLOBE APN: http.globe.com.ph
you can put APN of other network just make sure that its correct because your GPRS wont work same as for globe & smart..
save after you put ur desired name,proxy,port,apn
press alt+F+S
to exit press alt+F+X
then the prov file will appear inside the folder of your editor named S40proxy.prov
ok thats it i assumed that you already know how to transfer the prov file

Haha! Nilabas na ni sir exa! Nagkakaprob ako d2 minsan pero ayus lang.. 
s60 mode eh os7 nga lang kaya hindi gumagana ip trick sa om4.2,
tnx alot kuya exa

have you tried to upgrade ur phone's firmware? Try mo tol bka my himala based on my exp... Wahehe!

latest na firmware nito eh gumagana naman sa ibang apps yung ip trick, like sa opera mobile gumagana, sa mga opera mini lang ayaw
