T68 and HP Omnibook IR settings? |

This is driving me mad. I have HP Omnibook900 and when I set my T68 to receive item and point it at the IR port it connects and Windows plays the connect sound then after 3 seconds it disconnects. If I re-boot the laptop it will eventually connect and stay connected. Sometimes this takes 10 or 15 times. It's driving me nuts. Are there any srettings I should check? I can't go on using it like this!!!

i have an omnibook 900 to;great laptop!
for the irda,turne the setting on SIR on the bios,not FIR...It could help u.So far,i have trouble for synchro so i use BT adapter.Faster !
IR works for transfer picture to t68->pc,BT doesn't!

You cold go to Control Panel and Wireless link and lower the speed of the Infrared port there.
I'd lower it down ot 115,200. |
