Angry with SonyEricsson |

I swear i am jinxed. I have lost my confidence again with SonyEricsson. I have now sent back my w995 and cancelled my contract within the cooling off period. Now just left with my c510 because my w995 has gone crap again. After the third return with bad and i mean badly built sliders and my camera and the rest of the phone software going all wrong i had finally had enough. I was going to exchange for something else but could not be bothered and am now not happy with the thought of being stuck in a contract with such poor phones. Its simply not good enough anymore when customers signing upto contracts and having such devices that are supposed to be top of the range and all you get is shoddy build and rubbish reliability. SonyEricsson still have issues and need to pull their socks up. Not only did i have 3 phones with loose slides which were so bad it was like it was going to come apart in your hand. On top of this my camera went strange with it showing upside down and flashing the software did nothing. Also the back cover kept almost falling off. Its disgusting and i will not buy another SonyEricsson slide again and certainly won't buy anymore of their phones for a while to see whether their new OS is going to be. Yes i know all phones have some software issues and slides loosen with time but from what i can see the w995 is another poor showing even with latest firmware. And slides should not be that bad after less than two weeks out of the box. To be honest with you the camera really was not as good as expected with dreadful purple fringing some bad blurring and just poor build for such a top end product. I am sure some of you won't agree but why can't they just for goodness sake get it right for once with something that works. Fed up

Sorry don't want to put anyone off but if you do get one please beware and do not take rubbish from phone shops. Its a nice phone when it works and if you can live with build issues then get it. I found it to be so irritating using it with the poor build when taking a picture the slide would move even when closed along with the back cover everything would just move about like it was going to fall apart. Hated it. I shall not get another of their phones for a while.

God where have you been never had an issue with any of their phones since the p800. I used to have that phone but you must have been lucky. So many of their phones have had issues. Anyway i just needed to vent my frustration. I surely was not bored with the phone i loved it except the camera was not as good as expected but its issues are too much for me to ignore or live with in a contract. Also there was nothing else i wanted to swap for right now. Oh well. |

I think its a fact that here people talk mostly about their phone's bugs, problems etc. Not many topics say about how a phone is sturdy, or high quality or anything like that. *Apart from everyone's beloved T68i! * People take those things for granted so spending much time here can be depressing.
Your experience with Bonovox is another example but still I personally haven't had any problems with phones ever. Maybe some low quality builds but they certanly weren't falling apart in matter of weeks.

I am alright i still have my c510 and when you think about things there are people in the world worse off than me my problems are nothing to them earthquake victims. I have had very reliable phones from them before and yes i too loved the t68i and the k800i but i am sorry to say they still have issues they need to address.
They should improve build quality on such high end products and software reliability considering the fact its been out for a bit now it was poor.

I kinda know what you mean. The first C905 I had ended up with a faulty keypad, within 3 weeks of buying it. One of my C902's had problems with unstable Blueooth, Sim Card reader and memory card reader. Less said about my W910's the better, P900 spent more time in the repair center than in use (owned it for 12 months and got about 1 months useage from it).
But those are the only phones I've had problems with and the only one's I've not owned since first came about are the P800, P910, G700, J series, T2xx series, K5xx series and the W900.
All other releases I've owned and have been quite happy with. Especially the T610, T630, S700, K750, W800, K800 P1 and T650.
But the ones I've found to be very reliable lately have been the T700 and my recent purchase. The C901. Really can't fault the C901. Feels like a T630/K700 (keypad design) mixed with a K750 + A200, 5mp camera and xenon flash.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |
