Hi guys,

I tried to look but I didn't find anything substantial; but is the P1i unlocked to take a Swedish/Canadian simcard?

When I purchased it, it was on 02 (from eBay), but I used a T Mobile simcard with it for a while. But I am unsure about international simcards. See my friend is going to Europe and she is from Canada, and I don't want her to be without a phone whilst she is here (I live in the UK, so I don't know if our unlocked phones work from there)

Any help with figuring out if the phone is unlocked, or info for unlocking of the phone would be grateful.

Thanks for the help!

To check, whether a phone is locked, you can try to use a simcard from another provider, than the original one.
O2 contract phones usually are unlocked and your P1i must be, otherwise you wouldn't be able to use a T-mobile simcard.
UK unlocked phones work with simcards from all over Europe, as the networks in mainland Europe use the same frequencies, as those in the UK.
And I don't see any reason, why a Canadian simcard wouldn't work with it aswell.

For Sweden she'll need an an UK->Euro adapter for the charger, though.
