Not only mobile phones, but also laptops. my netbook has been working like a crap in terms of battery life after a year of use. so its pretty useless for mobility now. its the reason why i got one, but now...
If i could see something in technology that hasn't improved for the past 5 years it will be the battery. Lithium-ion is a step ahead of NiMH but as of now nothing yet has been standardized to replace it and with all the phones coming with great hardware its a horrifying fact that all of them will be rendered useless if the battery sucks

I intend on doing that but i'll let it get worser for the time being..
fact is if your on a 24mth contract they should give you a new battery for that 2nd year Rant over
Laptop batterys are rubbish too have you used a Toshiba laptop? uhh Ehhh defo avoid lol

Which phone is it you got? Is it still that Samsung? I played with one of them very nice but confusing sending a text though I have gone off Samsung menus. I had but sent back a 24 month prison sentence laptop contract I had with T Mobile. The laptop was a HP and seriously the battery brand new hardly lasted an hour with average use. Pathetic. Claim under warranty or through your contract and get them to send you a new battery. Or if you have insurance they can replace battery

Vodafone's reaction to my battery will probaly be
"Oh madam your handset is faulty please let us repair it for you"
I can read these companies like a book now
I will when it gets worser btw moan about it to them,
its still that phone ive got in my details Bono...
what I don't get is I hardly use the neton it and the battery life keeps dipping on it,
it seriousley must be the camera and camcorder on it that makes it run out so fast :?
best Laptop to go for is a dell they really last ages,
I wouldn't dream of going for a contract for one either laptops are
a waste of space you can only upgrade the ram nothing more :/

Yes and 2 year contracts are not worth it. And especially as I never keep phones for that long lol

Yes it was brand new which surprised me although it was on Orange. Not sure i believed them it was more than likely second hand. At the moment i have a Sony Ericsson c510 although i did have a contract with a w995 but had too many problems like bad slide on it returned 3 of them before i cancelled. There ain't much about at the moment which catches me except the n86.

Thats a good bargain if it it is for real then
it's al'rite phone does the job, im pretty excited about the iPhone arriving on Vodafone too
I know alot of you would say don't bother but I love my iPod touch and having the phone aswell will be fun
Sounds a utter nightmare the trouble you had with the phones,
I had trouble with a E65 when I first took the contract out with Vodafone but I just sold the darm thing lol

How long you had that Samsung? Surely the battery can't be bad already. Nokia have vastly improved their batteries lately. I had a Nokia 6303 and the battery honestly with quite heavy use lasted a good solid 4 days.

I've heart of a new technology that MIT has been currently developing which can charge in seconds. Check it out at >> http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/7938001.stm
