I have a great dilemna
I have bought a W995 while waiting for the Satio to come out, BUT now that I am more aknowlegded of the Omnia HD I am reconsidering waiting for the Satio and get right now the Omnia HD!
The most important thing that changed my mind is the price: 650$ now for the Omnia HD and 750-800$ exepcted for Satio(if not more)
I don't care about xenon/camera war, I just want a funny UI,many apps and games...
The only thing I would miss from Satio is the direct sunlight legibility, while even here it's not sure it would be better though
I am just afraid of the size of the Omnia HD, should I??

Id say get the OmniaHD. It already has a huge modding community making custom firmwares with KastorUI effects for it, and it has a major FW update coming soon it seems, with very a impressive new taskmanager, almost like the Palm PRE if i remember correctly with the windows, and overall you getting the same hardware the added bonus in the OmniaHD being the ALREADY BUILT-IN 16GB memory thats expandable, and the larger display, and 3.5mm jack if thats important to you,all in a cheaper more stable device. AFAIK apps that work on N97 and 5800 work fine on Omnia, just wait for jj03 to confirm that though.

The satio is available for pre order at 470 pounds at SE's official store nd should be much cheaper elsewhere.I have also seen it being pre-ordered at as low as 500 euros. If you are into games and all, check out the satio, coz samsung isnt renowned much for their game develoment. The UI in the satio is much better too. |

It's the lowest possible price and it's already 100$ more expensive than OmniaHD!
Don't forget that in my country you should add 50-100$ more...
So about the screen, the Satio doesn't render better under sunlight?

Gaming wise im sure Satio games will run on OmniaHD, this is Symbian, theres always a way, and under the hood these two pack the same hardware.
Im sure Satio will be better under sunlight, display is a bit smaller and its TFT, maybe try looking for a review on YouTube that has both side by side.

The Samsung UI is nice in omniaHD, at least it has widgets and like already said cooked FW with very cool effects!
It has nothing to do with other Samsung in case of customisation because we can use N97's themes
So bye bye boring UI
About youtube comparison, the satio has not been reviewed yet the case of sunlight, but why do you think TFT is better? HTC Diamond 1 and 2 are TFT touch screen and there are no ways to read them under sunlight
I think the Satio ''would'' be just slightly better than i8910 under sunlight but not as clear as w995 anyway

when gsmarena previewed the Satio they said it's worse than the Omnia's legibility in direct sunlight |

if sunlight legibility of the screen is so important to you why don't you buy the N97, it has the same legibility as N95,N82 |

Overall AMOLED is better, but i was talking about the sunlight legibility of SE TFTs usualy being good, but now i read that the SE is worse,so i dont know now lol.
But ye OmniaHD IMO is the way to go.

The biggest problem with Satio is its very short batt. time. A cell like this needs at least 1500mah. The drols at SE decided 950 is enough nevertheless, satio remains my chosen best s60. Is the video rec better in the Samsung?

Sony Ericsson Satio. For the 12mp cam and a xenon flash alone. |
