hi, i just got a t68i yesterday and i am very happy, my nokia phones shall never be used again:)
anyways, i dont have anything to connect the phone to the computer with, should i just buy a data cable, or should i buy a bluetooth connection, are there any differences in the options that i can do, im not looking for any unlocking or flashing, just to uplaod some ringtones and pictures and maybe learn how to use the organizer. any suggestions are welcomed:)
thanx

a bluetooth connection is far more expensive than buying a data cable (which i believe is faster) and therefore i would suggest to buy a bluetooth connection only in the case where you will use it elsewhere also (eg. palmtop). another cheeper solution is an IR connection (but still the data cable is cheaper, faster and less battery consuming) |

I bought a Billionton Dongle USB BT in GH for only Php2400 last year. It so handy that I can even use it in the office.

if you'll only be using your T68i then i suggest buying a data cable (preferably the original drs-11) but if you'll be using other things like a pda or laptop then i suggest getting an ir adapter since it is more versatile

Data cable ist cheapest solution, nevertheless Irda or bluetooth could be used in another phone ur gonna buy, an u never know are i.e. new SE models be compatible with specific kind of cable. You also won't be able to backup your pictures, ringtones and themes downloaded via wap- you can't send these from phone to PC with a data cable (but don't worry, from PC to phone works perfect ) - only irda & BT can do it. |

thanx for your replies, i dont mind the extra $30 for a bluetooth adaptor to the computer, or do i have to buy one of them real expensive bt devices for like 100 for them to work good with the computer and the phone. also can i do extra things with the bt device then the cable or can i just do the same things.
so what can i do when i have a bt device or a cable to connect it to the computer |
