My phone being working kind of since July, i could hear people but they couldn't hear me.

Battery was running low tonight, so i plugged it in to charge, been charging about 2/3 hours tops, had the phone in my hand textin, and it vibrated, screen lit up and has turned off.

Won't turn back on, connection on the battery smells, as does the connections on the phone for the battery.

So whats died?

Battery?

Im sick of this phone, O2 Wont do fack all about it either, whee do i stand with warrenty etc?

well its on, for now, but why did the red light flash? Firmware crash?

If the phone had been on charge for 3 hours, why was the charging indicator still going from red to green, and not like a little movement near the end of the indicator, if u get me?

I heard that there are a few problems about that phone, first the microphone dies and then flat, and then... well you know the rest.maybe you should cut your losses and sell it.

Leave it on charge for a day. Then give it a reflash with SEUS. The red led on the side usually flashes when the battery is very low or when there's a fault.

Sounds like the old k800i issue where the red light would appear in the infrared port after the white screen of death.
Phone?? What phone??

Will reflash, going to flash with older firmware, and stick the o2 firmware back on, ready for it to be taken away i think. Had enough of it.

Cybershot sticker, half of it is missing
Microphone died
Memory card cover missing.
Digital camera strap, metal clp at bottom broke.

One thing after anotehr, the phone breaks so easily!

call sony ericsson and book it in to be repaired under warranty. You'll probably have to prove when you got it (usually a photocopy of the bill from O2 with the upgrade/new contract details on will suffice), put your proof in a jiffy bag with your phone minus anything removable i.e. battery cover, battery, memory and sim card, and post it to the freepost address. Wait a week and it'll be all fixed up and sent back to you for free.

note: The repair centre hasn't seemed to have been bothered that I send my C905 in for repair (4 times now) with a differnt firmware everytime. They'll flash it anyway.
I have a dig bick
You read that wrong

Or, should i ring O2, see if i can con a replacement or even better still, another phone?

How long do O2 repair take?

Going in for repair with O2.

Hopefully theyll sort the missing memory card cover out, aswell as the half broken cybershot sticker, and the slightly warped camera cover!

Estimated repair time 7 days!

Will they generally clean/repair all the phone, or just the main problem?
