Display driver doesn't have control over the light sensor. But the purpose of the light sensor is to save the power as well as really some logical reason is there ie you don't need keypad lights in the bright area, which has been switched off by the light sensor the screen is inversely proportional.
Actually almost all the A2 mobiles screen doesn't reproduce exact white,makes yellowish. blue and white is no longer good thats might be irritating you. If you want to know just compare it with k810i or w580i.

If yours C905 is cid52 yes.(cid53 must pay 16 euros to patch your phone_app.cxc)

THAT WON'T WORK!!! Using different firmware version patch will just screw up your MAIN or maybe your whole phone firmware so you would have to reflash it. As mentioned you should update your firmware.

After all it's not that difficult to flash the phone with newer firmware, or with one that has many patches released for...
