Hi Guys!
I'm working on a new Twitter client and I'm looking for a few beta users
with SonyEricsson phones.
The most interesting feature of my twitter app IMO, is that you can send photo/video/audio tweets directly from the phone.
So if you're using twitter and would like to try out my app, please reply to this post for an invitation.

Go to http://pavo.me/invite353 then click "Sign in with Twitter" button (you'll have to grant it read/write access on twitter) then you'll be redirected back to pavo.me where you can download app.
The interface is really simple, pressing you'r joystick gives you "Actions" menu where you can post twits, post photos, etc. and the Left softbutton gives you the context menu with the actions related to a particular tweet: reply, delete, etc. |

BTW, it's really important to install JAD file as well, as it contains authentication token for your account. The simpliest way to do it is to use SMS download option. |

ceaser2008, I couldn't make more than three posts on my first day at the forum, so I replied via PM, I hope you've received the message.

Also, I saw several successfull registrations on PavoMe website, and I'll appreciate any feedback from the ones who already tried the app.

Ok i tried it and it looks very simple. I know it's a beta first release.
You are missing the ReTweet function. It would be good to add shortcuts too.

I signed up but didn't get the SMS, But I installed it manually.
Seems like it's working quite nicely on my W980. Was a bit slow to start the first time, but after that the loading time is quite respectable. Very handy. Nice job.
Only thing that was a bit off, I downloaded the jar file and the jad file, but when i ran the jad file it downloaded the jar file from the internet. It would be nice to detect it and use it.
I assume it was the jar file as it then asked me if i wanted to overwrite it. |

I'll be adding re-tweets. What about shortcuts? Shortcuts to what? |

Thanks! I think the first time you run any app on SE phones, it's getting ether unpacked or somehow else processed by the phone and it takes few minutes.

It's to do with the phone itself, unfortunately I don't have any control of how the phone installs treats the jar/jad files. |

There are twitter apps that let you use the numeric keypad to perform different twitter features.
For example: the '1' key is for an update(or tweet), '2' key is for retweeting, etc.

This Twitter application makes use of what kind of connection(or is it sms) to send the tweet?

Guys, I've updated the app, changes are:
- added support for Retweets (as requested)
- can open links from tweets in the phone browser
- expiremental support for converting russian translit to cyrillic (mostly for my own benefit if you happen to speak russian, let me know)
Haven't decided what's the best way to implement shortcuts, so it's not there yet.
The new version can be downloaded from http://pavo.me/invite353
Regards,
