Enables/disables camera shutter sound in SILENT mode (silent profile selected)

it doesnt work with my red c905...it cannot be connected no matter what i do

What is exactly techmode? Could you give us more details?
And could we also select "3G Only" network? Currently it only has "GSM" and "GSM/3G" network..

Techmode is a field test application, somekind of netmonitor. Dial *585*0000# to start techmode
Yes, you can select "3g only" just play with it, its original sony ericsson settings in your phone. If you not like it set it back.

The most logical explanation I can think of fast would be that the drivers are not (propery) installed for that specific comport you plugged the cable.
fast solution:
-plug cable in OTHER usb port in pc
-Hold C, pllug cable, windows will ask you (should ask) for the drivers. (because these are unsigned drivers you should install them per USB port)
