Yep, a green - red flashing, or a green - blue, or a red - blue... will be a really great feature to show if we have a new SMS or a missed call...!!!
Let's hope we can have that in a near future...

Red led is for when your battery is about to die.... it'll start flashing RED ALERT!!!

doesnt the green LED flash faster when you have a new sms?
but yeah, a diff colour led for that would be wicked, maybe if the blue one flashed instead |

Blue led is for bluetooth.
If you have bluetooth activated, it flashes every now and then.
Why get confused when you get a message!?
If you have bluetooth activated, the blue led is supposed to flash, no need to mix it up with the message flash.
And if the red led would start flashing when you get a message, you would assume that the battery is low. Not that you got a message!
As it is now, the green led flashes once every second. If you get a message, it flashes twice as fast.
If the battery level is low, the red led flashes every second, if you get a message, it flashes twice as fast.
Why change a simple thing as that!?
It couldn't be more logical!
If you want changes ask for a yellow light instead! |

ElGato is right, don't complicate this more than you have to! But one thing could have been changed: When you get a message it's right that the green led flashes twice as fast as regular, but only for a short while. I think it should have flashed with double speed until you've read the message. That's all I ask for! |

Yep, the green (or red...) light was flashing twice as fast on all the previous Ericsson I owned... until the message was read...!! But it's not anymore the case with the T68... (less than 10 seconds...) and I don't understand why...?!?
What's a shame...
That also the reason why I did ask for something new... like, for example, an alternate green - red for a new SMS or a missed call...!! could be fun...

Yeah but really its just not that obvious. Even my super basic sagem 920 had a different led for unread sms. Oh well.

On my last phone A Samsung A300 (sorry), the green flashed whenever the phone was swtiched on and had a signal, it flashed red when you had missed a call or had a sms unread. This was a far better system than flashing twice as fast, who wants to sit and watch the led to decide if its flashing faster or not? The red led makes much more sense and to be honest I really can't understand why Ericsson haven't utilised this.
We really don't need a red led to warn that battery is low, a beep would be sufficient! |

Hey, you know when you're writing a message and it takes forever, does your green light just stay lit for a few seconds too????
Is that normal or is it the phone blocking in some way?
