I am currently using the K800i but it is WELL on its way out.
5, * and # don't work and the camera is non functional. The UMTS radio is really hammered, and even with full signal calls are often very poor quality and I must shout down the microphone. It has survived total submersion and countless drops.

I need a new phone and have been looking at getting a K800i again or a K810i because I know they are so solid and reliable. I am wondering if SE have released any new models which compare in terms of durability.

I am looking for 2MP+ camera, no need for music but 3G is absolutely essential. I like the candybar design because it's easier to user service but obviously that isn't necessary.

I had looked at the Skype S2 because I can get free Skype but the reviews I read seemed pretty mediocre so I'm back onto SE.
3 are offering the G502 for 69.99 which looks fairly good but seems quite basic for £70.

Edit: I can't take a contract deal and my limit is £100, preferably less than £60. I'm more than happy to get a second hand phone (Which I'd have to do if I wanted a K800i)

T700 - solid build; 3.2mp camera; 3G/HSDPA; fits the bill nicely.

The closest SE have to a rugged phone is the C702 but that's probably too expensive for your price range. The G502's predecessor, the K630/V640i is a good phone with lots of features including HSDPA and 2.0Mp camera which takes good photos and is cheap now too. Check out the review in my signature.

K810, K770i and T650 are all good options for Autofocus equipped camphones.

I'm not bothered about having a front camera, I don't use video calling.
The C901 is nice, but too far out of the price range for me really.
I'm surprised how much the K850i has come down in price, there are a lot on ebay for ~£70 used, but I don't really like the touch screen bit, seems to me that SE went for aesthetics over durability on it?
The K770i seems like a good choice (£70 new), but it's often locked, will I have to have it unlocked professionally or can I do it myself?
The C510 is a little more expensive (£90-100) but again seems like a good choice if I can find an unlocked one.
I couldn't find any k630, v640i or t650s on ebay?
At the end of the day looks like they are all in a fairly similar price range to the K810i which I do like. Is there a reason I shouldn't get it or has it just not been suggested because I already thought of it?
Does anyone know anything about the Skype S2?
Edit: http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/default.aspx have a look at the phones here; they're all new and I won't need to unlock them, but they are a bit pricey, any recommendations from the cheap ones one here?

C902 (£70 used unlocked) seems a little easier to get hold of than the C901, and seems like a good solid phone, anything I should be aware of?

Also, any chance of a little more detail in suggestions?

Hello.

I would recomend the C901.

I have the C902 and it has a great built quality, design and ergonomics. However it has a small display (2"), a crappy led flash which is almost useless and the camera quality isn't that good, in my point of view. I like my red c902, but I'll change soon for a more versatile and efficient point&shoot camera phone.

Edit: Sorry, I did not notice that you have a cash limite. In that price range, I would recomend K850 or a 2nd hand N82.

The only phones that won't disappoint you where imaging is concerned are C905, C901 and K810 because of the flash. You won't be able to live without Xenon, no matter how good a cam module it has if it only has LED flash, you'll feel like it's a downgrade. Let alone C510 which is the worst imaging device from SE to date I have to say. So probably K810 is your best bet with your budget but if you just manage to raise enough funds, get C901, the HSPA data connection is quite a jump from K800.

The camera has been broken for several months now so I can live without it being great.

The N82 is very expensive and having just read the hall of shame thread I don't fancy a K850i!
C905 is again edging out of the price range and I do wonder about the durability of sliders.

As it stands, my list is;

K810i, C902, or (less likely) K770i.

I like bestpic, is it only the K810i which has it? (EDIT: both the C901 and C902 have it)

C902 (£65-80) pros:
Generally newer.
HSDPA (I do tether my phone as a modem)
Higher MP camera (largely insignificant)

K810i (£50-60) pros:
Xenon flash
Better camera?
Less expensive
rugged
