Err, you seriously dont think the jet is good at gaming.Half the games dont run on it.It has pathetic app management.Seems to run apps on its mood.Cant install files more than 6mb,etc etc.I have both though. And the jet provides a good touch experience.

I forgot to say a few other things that bug me about Samsung. No matter how amazing their technology I still dont understand why Samsung cannot deal with their pathetic memory card management. Why oh why do you still now on a Samsung phone still have to copy a ring tone and a wallpaper to the phone memory to use it? Its so stupid and wierd. Every other manufacturer does it right but not Samsung. Also their file management is so messy. Plus saving camera pics to memory card as default always goes back to phone memory after plugging into a pc. Drives me up the wall dont think I will bother with Samsung again. Just the little things get on my nerves with them.

The W995 which feels solid in the beginning is not the same one month after...the lower part of the slider move about 2mm from side to side, pressing the buttons on the slider part is not the best feeling I have seen, you have cracks!
About java games and apps on the Samsung Jet, do they play full screen or half screen like on the 5800?

Is it still crap? I know it was terrible but hoped they managed to solve the memory matters. My wife is not so happy with her C905, so I was thinking of Jet for her. Lets hope apple puts in a better cam next year.

I don't know...It's just that Samsung doesn't have an appeal to me. Looking at my K850 and I can say it is a beauty

one thing keeping me from a Samsung is their battery life! It's one thing that does well and as a result i haven't made a permanent switch to other manufacturers. While i have tried others, ive not stuck with them.

Ye thats one great point about SE, the battery life, although it wasnt that fantastic on my W900, i think it was due to the Vodafone firmware, cause it was the same on K850 until i debranded the K850, now it lasts for ever lol, it lasted a whole week with me just using it for taking a few pics, listenin to some music and some IM a day.

Yes yes yes Sony Ericsson the best by far for battery life. I do remember many moons ago having the w900 on a Vodafone contract. The battery was awful pity never on other networks. I miss the old s700i.

Are you kind of SE advertisers?
The C905 battery could last 3 days and the W995 can't make more than 2 days
And I am not a heavy Wifi user

Get what you think will be best bro, im shocked to read that SAMSUNG still suffer from their unpratical UI and poor java implentation. Wouldnt you rather get a iPhone3GS or a HTC Hero?

Latest Touchwizz is actually very good, problem with the iphone as an alternative is it's perhaps 50% more, Hero's a great device, Android's superb.

Still no Hero in my country (double sense)

@Bonovox Are you talking about the Jet for the Memory problems or Samsung in general?

My brother has a Tocco Lite and it has the touch Wizz interface which is easy to use in some ways and frustrating in others. But yes the Tocco Lite suffers from the stupid memory card thing where you have to copy wallpapers and ring tones to the phone to use them. Its so wierd considering their technology. Also default memory always goes back to phone memory. Its little irritating things like that. I also find texting awkward on their Touch Wizz interface and file management is messy.

Samsung phones do sometimes suffer from software problems like any. But not as much as Sony Ericsson or Nokia. But my brothers Tocco Lite whilst its a nice reliable phone its so irritating to use for practical things. For some reason even with an 8 giga byte card in it with nothing on it everytime it still shows only 1,000 camera photos can be saved. This goes down with each picture taken. An empty 8 giga byte card can save more than that. It stays the same if you fill it up too but Samsung have such a strange memory card management. Its all backwards. On my Nokia 6303 an 8 giga byte shows i can save over 8,000 photos.
