If you have did it come sealed in the original box with all english content and when you selected english as the main language on the start up screen was there any different languages here and there on the menus even though english was selected, the reason i ask is im thinking of buying a c901 from them

Just get it online, you will be protected by the distance buying regulations. You can open the package, verify the contents, even turn the phone on, this is part of your right to fully evaluate the product. If you don't like that you see, return everything for a full refund. If you buy via eBay you don't have to worry, they will refund you if you don't like it. I dealt with them a few times and the odd order that went wrong they always refunded me in full. Just be sure to buy from business sellers via buy-it-now, buying something via bids will void a lot of your rights.

I've just bought a C901 off ebay from rose528400 and its a great little phone. It's not as well made as the c902 but I think everything else about it is better!

I was going to buy one off ecell then read quite a lot of bad feedback for them which is why I chose rose who didn't really seem to have any bad feedback. It was sent via FedEx and took 5 days to get to the UK from Singapore and I didn't have to pay any import duty.

Don't just get one on what I've said tho, these are my opinions and I'd hate for you to follow them and then be really annoyed that you don't think the same as me or if you have a bad experience.

Hay alexlindley, i take it the phone you bought was not a uk version but english can be selected when setting up the phone, my question is do you get other languages popping up on the phone menus even though english is selected

I've been in contact with rose on ebay and today I bought a C901 from them. Apparently the phone will have a full english keypad with no additional symbols and english as one of its languages. This should mean its an APAC model. If it is it should come with english menu's as well.

Everythings in English just as it would be if you were running an EU version. The keypad is exactly as you see in the pictures of the C901 on the net (ie. no unusual characters).

It is an APAC model not that you would know, I suppose you would be able to install EU firmware on it if you find out an EU CDA number.

However, today I got an invoice from FedEx for £10.24 for import duty (£6.80 was admin charges!). You'd have thought they'd tell me about this when I collected the package from their offices. Don't know if everyone will get this or if its just me being unlucky, sorry for saying you dont get hit with the import duty!

PS. I really like this phone!!

Because its not available in the UK yet which is why its one on the SE website. It in the coming soon section. The UK will only be getting the Greenheart version so it will only be available in white over here. According to SE UK it will be available in 2 weeks time. My silver C901 should be arriving tomorrow morning before midday. Been tracking it all the way. Will get some unboxing pics done it I remember.

Mine came today. Have taken some unboxing pics so expect a thread created in the reviews section sometime after 11pm tonight (unless someone beats me to it) Weight feels similar to the C902 as the internals are mostly steel from what I can see. Mines the Sincere Silver model which is actually 2 different shades with a bit of bronze/gold thrown in for contrast on the D pad and battery cover/lens cover. Keypad feels good and excellent to press (much better than my C905 keypad). If anyone has owned the T630/P910/K700 many years ago you will have an idea of how the keypad feels.

Recieved my c901 today just when ecell said it would arrive and i love it, they even gave me a three point charger aswell as the two pin version, i actualy live in the same town as the ecell warehouse but is still took 7 working days to arrive, probably because they get thousands of orders a day, they did say it would take 7 working days though, the only thing that i noticed was there wasnt a usb cable included but i think it must be like that with all simfree versions because there is no more room in the box to fit one, i allready have an old one so im not bothered by that anyway, ill certainly buy from them again, good customer service aswell

Edit: Megabass is amazing

I agree it's an excellent phone. Have been using mine non stop all week and not even though of getting my C905 back out. The size, keys, screen etc are spot on imo. The C901 doesn't come with a USB cable or a pc suite cd. However. When you connect the phone to your computer via USB the phone automatically installs the drivers onto your computer and the manual is installed on the phone in the settings menu. Also. If you go into the connectivity menu and select USB you can select different modes for the phone which were not on previous A200 phones eg i-mac support.
