'Greatest of the great': BBC war correspondent Brian Barron dies aged 69 from cancer,News chiefs paid tribute to the unflappable former foreign correspondent, who was described as 'among the greatest of that great generation'.
Barron's wife and daughter at his bedside when he finally lost his battle with cancer earlier today.

Good god another one dies that 3 in 3 days. Yes i remember him reporting the news when i was younger. Another cancer victim very sad

I too remember watching him when i was younger he used to be on quite a lot on the news not like today where there are too many news reporters |
