C905 Wifi problem. |

hello , i have a SE c905 and i bought it a while ago and repaired a cracked screen. then i updated it and the wifi never worked since, it will open the wifi app but it just says searching. even if im next to the router!i opend the phone assumeing the wifi ariel was loose or something but it wasnt, so i flashed to older firmware main and FS with custom cda and didnt work so i reupdated it and still nothing also the gps has never worked. any ideas? if it is a hardware problem what could it be? the bluetooth works fine and i herd that the wifi and BT antenna are the same.

yes completely. its ex contract from my sister. i flashed it with a2 in an attempt to fix it but no luck but the fault started with an update from SEUS when i got it

Mentioned this myself about a month ago. I have the same problem with my C905 which i bought new at the beginning of August this year. Got home and all was fine. Plugged it into SEUS and it installed new firmware. Now can't get a wifi connection or gps lock.
Mine is a factory sim free model in bronze/gold. Never been locked or branded to an operator.
SE uk have now had my phone for over a week now as the keypad decided to fail as well so waiting to hear from them.
Oh. The wifi and bluetooth antenna's are seperate modules. There is actually a small antenna on the inside pointing down towards the bottom of the phone for wifi and the bluetooth chip is a module on its own from what i can see on Sony Ericsson's service guide for stripping the phone down.

hopefuly SE will make a new update soon and mend the issue. has your camera flash stopped working too? |

No mate. The flash was fine last time i used the phone.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

i think my fone is fecked then. no flash on cam, no wifi and no gps i give up. ill just leave it as it is. |
