I have a T68m->i that I got from T-Mobile over Amazon.com locked to their network. I've been searching for someone that could unlock it for me, but so far Unlocking.net (the only one I've found) has not replied my e-mails. I need to unlock it in a hurry. Does anyone know about any place where I could send my phone to get unlocked, or does anyone have the code to unlock a T-Mobile T68?

PLEASE!

call customer service - they have a world plan which is free - basically, it's free unlocking for tmobile customers..in states anyway. just tell them that you will be leaving the country . takes 7-10 days from what cust service told me..im on my 5th day=[

So if I simply call T-mobile and tell them I'm leaving, they will unlock my phone?

You can just tell them you want it unlocked. Simple.

I've tried that, and they would still tell me that I need an account. I've tried emailing simunlock@t-mobile.com and the same. I'm getting tired of it, and really start to think that I should return the phone.
Below is the e-mail I've sent to them, after they refused my request. The response to this e-mail came the same as before. I wish someone could unlock it or at least tell me where can I get the cable and the software here in the US.

You are really starting to annoy me with this. I don't want to open an
account, because I don't have a Social Security number in the US. And I want to be able to use it with my SIM card from Brazil. if you can't provide a cell phone on Amazon.com that can be used by all customers, don't provide it at all. I was thinking about getting a prepaid SIM card from T-Mobile, after unlocking my phone. But now I'm thinking about returning the phone and getting from another company.
In the next few weeks I will contact lawyers, because you sold me a cell phone that doesn't work, and even having the power to unlock it, just won't do it because your company just wants to get customer's money, instead of creating a good relationship with your (possible) future customers. I was interested in getting a cell line here in the US, but now I who I should not call.

Sincerely,

Rafael Rocha Fonseca
A very disappointed T68m owner

I work for T-Mobile USA and the requirements for Sim Unlock is that you have an account for at least 90 days and that you have a balance no greater than $100, that's it. Once we file it, we advised 7-10 days to receive the Sim Unlock code where it will either be E-mailed to you or it will be posted to your account where a CCR can give it to you.
