England are once again in the World Cup after winning 5-1 against Croatia. Their performance was good and 8 out of 8 wins proving England can do well when they want to. Tonights score reminds me of 5-1 victory over Germany many years ago.

What a difference a smart manager makes! Last time it was 3:2 and this time it was 5:1. Capello plays England to their strengths, they are what they are. Sometimes it isn't exactly pretty but its damn successful. Behind Brazil and Spain, I feel England have a great chance to win the World Cup. You couldn't really put any other teams ahead of them, maybe Argentina once Maradona gets the sack purely because of their raw talent. Italy, Germany, Holland? Not on this form.

Holland are a good team too. But yes perhaps one day England will win the World Cup for the second time who knows. For quite some years the England team were just so bad it was stupid. They were just not gelling well together and there was no passion. Now look at them. Poor old Scotland not qualified again. Thats the difference between English football and football in other countries. Here its all glamour money no passion for the game and in some poorer countries more passion for the game though poorer wages.

No probably not i am not one for going to things like that. I normally just prefer to watch in a pub or at home. Funny the match last night 3 of the goals were classic headers
