Hi,

I had a Sony Ericsson K750 and the only limit it had on video clip length was memory card. Yesterday I got a Sony Ericsson w205 and the maximum clip is 1 hour 30 min and then it saves it. Is this the way all the Sony Ericsson phones are now, if not which ones have no maximum clip time limit?

Thanks

Afaik, not all SE phones have a limite to video recording. Both my G705 and W550 have unlimited video recording according to free memory.

AFAIK it depends by free memory, however I never recorded more than 10/15 minutes...
Little OT: What's the max resolution of W205's video recording?? Thanks

may be that's because W205 use Sagem platform...

Does it, what other Sony Ericsson uses Sage platform. Think I will change it for another one.

Regarding resolution not sure its 3gp and I think it is 176x144 (could not find this info anywhere)

Is the w580 a Sagem interface, is it a good phone to change too and what is the maximum video length and resolutions ie can it do 118x96, 176x144 etc

W580 is an old phone. it's not Sagem. it use SE A100 platform.

W580 max video rec resolution is QCIF (176x144) @ 15FPS, 3GP format, with unlimited length (depends on memory card)

if you want a SE phone with better video recording capability, buy an A200 phone. it can record at QVGA (320x240) resolution, with MP4 format.

Why not get the C902 or C901? Both have 5mp camera and can record in QVGA resolution.
