i was wondering if it was possible to compress a download (more like mp3 download), say you've got a 12mb mp3 file and you could compress it to say, 4mb and download it at the compressed size, is there a software or site that can do that?? ...anyone?

You can ZIP an MP3 but it wont compress it that much (normally less than 10%). You will never get a 12MB file down to 4MB.
