Nokia X6 and Nokia X3

The first two members of a new Nokia X-series also got revealed. The Nokia X6 is a spiritual successor of the popular 5800 XpressMusic packing 3.2-inch (640x360) touchscreen, 32 GB internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera (Carl Zeiss optics) with VGA@30fps video recording and dual LED flash and FM radio. Yes, that's right - there is no card slot, but the 13.8 mm thickness and the 32 gigs memory should compensate that

The connectivity options are as full as the N97 mini and there is nothing missed. Even more, the Nokia X6 comes with the Nokia WH-500 - a headband-style stereo headset with all kind of control options and integrated handsfree. The X6 will launch in the end of this year on 459 euro price before taxes and subsidies and will be a Comes-With-Music device only, allowing you to download as many music track you want for free.

Finally, the Nokia X3 is an S40 6th edition slider with smallish 2.2-inch QVGA screen and dedicated music keys. It has a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, quad-band GSM support with GPRS and EDGE, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD slot and integrated stereo speakers

Running on the latest S40 software, the Nokia X3 will have Flash Lite 3.0 support and a WebKit web browser. It will be also available in the end of the year priced at 115 euro before taxes and subsidies

Prefer the design of the touch screen one. The first one is horrible looking with a disgusting square shape.

X6 seems nice. It looks very SE-ish...
It would be nice if they made some E Series handset with similar design and features (sans the music subscription)

Er.. isn't it X6.00? Decimal in the middle? My eyes are straining, LOL. Yeah, what's all that about though?

Oh well, melikes the X6-point-whatever. Keen to see what it'll cost compared to the current 5800 and the like.

I think both are kinda ugly. Weird combination of color/style, it looks like they were made by parts of other phones. What about the hardware? cpu, ram and etc?

Processor/RAM = same old sh..does not hold a candle to Satio, i8940, 3GS, or even their own N900

Also, s60 v5...argh

Enough said...

Indeed. I think the 434mhz Freescale CPU is fine, what REALY annoys me is how they are still using the 128mb RAM! WTF!? Last i heard is the N97 has around 47-50mb on boot up, add all the other things they plan to put in S60v5 and soon we will be back in the N80/N95-1 "Memory low" days. only reason the N900 got the newer hardware was because they had no option, it needs hardware accelerations and 256mb RAM.
Could Palm hurry up and release the GSM Palm Pre? I wana jump ship.
