i had a video of that fountain. will upload it to youtube later..
hahaha.. you can find it at Hentian Sungai Perak PLUS Highway..
The black balls in real life are actually not so dark,
You can see their shadows.. so black...
In the dark area, the smart contrast perform quite well, while in the bright area, it's abit cartoonish.. 
I guess we can't expect more from a cheap cam like this rite..
I had other pics with smart contrast, but all of them had cartoon look |

this is a normal shot, (non smartcontrast) from another view.
look at the balls' or spheres' color and shadow,
they are much closer to the one with smartcontrast picture before.

from my own experience with c901 and c902.................
¤ c901 produce better red colours, especially indoor.....(however, green, blue looks sometimes(often) cartoonish with c901)
¤ c901 have a bit less noise in fullsize, (for you who think thats super-important)
c902 take better macro, (better colours, more realistic)
c902 produce overall more stable shoots, (more accurate white balance....and so on).

think C902 doing pretty well  (colour-wise it didnt fell so much after (top-notch)Nikon D80....which explain quite a lot i guess)

And why post a comparison between c902 vs d-80?(and iso 200+f.9,0 for a close-up with THAT Nikon?I have sure you can do it better...)

i have c901, c902, n82..between c901 n c902, c901 have produce better colour,, n better in lowlite and day lite..i test n compare both set, i think c901 is the best.. i'm not bias in this thread, but i have them both..n always test n compare side by side..but c902 advantage is it have all shortcut at it screen..very easy n quickly used..it body very solid thats y james bond used it  . i dont used modded cam driver at both set, all original camdriver.. |

i'd say C902 on par with C901.
C901 color saturation abit weaker, but the colors are ok no matter what situation, it simply fixed at that point.
C902 color saturation is better than C901, but when there is just two or three colors are dominant in the subject, it is not as ok compared to C901. The performance changes at different situations.
My tip is, if you got a C901, just increase 20% color saturation in any C901 images in the computer.
