Hi all,

We all are using sony Ericsson phones and at one point we were introduced to Sony Ericsson phones somehow? I want all of us to share this how? We might be tempted to use other brand or someone has gifted or we have seen the performance earlier. Anything... Let it be in brief or in descriptive, but pls share how you were introduced to Sony Ericsson phones ? And which one was your first SE phone?

Starting with my story -
I was using NOKIAs earlier and was very happy with that. One day, my brother-in-law has gifted k800i. It was just introduced that time. I was bit scaptic to use other brand. So i kept it for a month. After my wife's continuous pressure to use it, i started to use. Initially i was complaining about everything about this phone. But slowly i started to like it and ended up in loveing it. Unfortunately it was stolen. I was determined to get better phone then that so i bought K850i in auction from ebay at fairly cheap price. Its been a year and still it is working very nice.
I am determined to use only se phone. I love se. I love sofia.

What about you guys?

My first phone in 1999 was an Ericsson DH618, I grew to hate that phone.
After nearly getting a Nokia several times, enjoying a succession of Philips phones and hating 2 Alcatels, I decided I wanted a thinner phone with Bluetooth so I got the K700i. I've been a fan since. About 6months prior to the K700i, I got a Z600 for the missus but can't remember why. That was our first camphone (0.1Mp ).

I saw someone use a T610. I thought wow such an excellent phone. I then went out to buy a phone 2 years later at 11 years old with the parents saw they didn't have it and I got the W550. Ah such an amazing phone and I fell in love.

I first knew of Sony Ericsson when the T68 came out on Orange contract. I remember waiting outside the Orange Studio in Birmingham to do my upgrade. I had read reviews of it previously and could not wait to get it. I thought it was an amazing phone back then though it still is a cool icon of their best days. From then on it was a good relationship I had over the early years either had Nokia phones then i started moving towards Ericsson which at the time were more reliable than Nokia. Though they had huge ariels and tiny screens they were great phones.

My very first phone back in 2002 was the Ericsson 3618s. Not a very common phone round the world, but it was very cheap here and I wanted a mobile phone. A few months further down the road I decided I wanted something new, but didn't have much in the way of cash. I wanted a similar interface so I went for the SE T100. I loved that phone so much until I saw the Z600 and completely fell in love.

I saved and saved and saved because it definitely wasn't a cheap phone. When I finally had enough money for it, I almost went over to Motorola's side because the V525 had better spec than the Z600, but at a cheaper price. Luckily though, I went for the Z600 and have never looked back.

My biggest regret in my mobile phone buying life is that I sold the Z600. The most loved phone I think I've ever had.

Didnt know much or care for SEs. One of my mates at when we were 14yrsold (2004) got a P800 as a gift from his dad, a year later it broke and he got the P910,so did another mate of mine, then another class mate got a K700 in early 2005 i think, still i didnt care for SEs until late 2005 when i saw an ad of the SE W800, didnt know what manufacturer made it but it had a 2mp camera, came with a whopping 512mb mem card (amazing at the time) ,Walkman Music Player, great 3D games etc. . .so i tried to find out, turned out it was an SE, didnt know much about them, before i wanted the W800 i wanted a NOKIA 3230 OR 6680, but both were expensive, anyway got the W800 as a birthday present in early 2006, and i fell in love with it and SE and 6months later got a W900 fast forward to today, ive got a K850,lost faith in SE and using a NOKIA. Moral of the story? I should have waited for the Nokia N91 instead of falling for the W800.

The S700i & K800i were my old all time faves but my first ever the T68 will always remain in my heart as a great phone. I remember being amazed at the animated colour screen start up on the 256 colour screen. Wow. I loved its cute design.

I believe I was introduced to Ericsson when my then girlfriend, now wife, had a T28 (I believe, or a flip just like it) back in 2000. I thought it was an awful phone and got myself a Nokia back in the states. I wanted a world phone though so I was lured by the price of the R380 world, then it was on to the p800 and I have never looked back.

My first phone during the late 90's was an analog Ericsson phone (AH618). Then my 2nd digital phone was an Ericsson GF768.
