Transfer Itunes Library from one pc to another |

Can anyone help, please!!! I have a new laptop and would like to transfer my itunes library from the old PC to my new one, I have an external storage device, is this the best way, if so, how do I do it.
Plus the same issue with contacts etc - I need to move them from Outlook on my old PC to my new one.
Any advise greatly appreciated  ...?

Use your external hard drive, and copy "C:\\ .... My Music\\iTunes" folder, and copy to the same folder on you're new PC. Then install itunes on your new PC, then click File > Add folder then select C:\\ .... My Music\\iTunes". Everything will be the same.
Sorry I don't know about your outlook but I remember a export button?
