T6 screws - thread-locking compound |

As my T68 is now out of warranty (and so I won't be sending it to a service centre at any time) I thought I might change the cover on it. However, whilst I was able to remove three of the four T6 screws, the fourth stubbornly refuses to budge. I think that the edges of the screw head (where the torx screwdriver would fit) are slightly worn away, and that, combined with the thread-locking compound that Ericsson use, is making it impossible to remove that last screw.
Does anyone who has had more experience at this than me have any tips please? I'm at a bit of a loss to know what else I can do...

Well u can push real hard to get it started but as a last resort u may need to araldite (2 pack epoxy engineers glue) a well fitting short length of metal pin (small nail with point cut off) leave it over night then gently turn with pliers. |

I have same exact problem... the steps above seem too complicated for me... unless theres pictures and its cheap 
Anways any other way would be greatly appreciated as well |

Anyone who finds my post too complicated should`nt be taking a mobile phone apart in the first place. also if you had pushed hard on them & used the correct size tool when undoing them they wouldn`t have stripped in the first place. the glue costs about £4 & it dries over night while u sleep, what do you want pictures for ???? |

The screw head was damaged from the start - it looks to me as though the UK Sony Ericsson repair centre damaged it when they last took the phone apart for me (I sent it to Celestica for a minor repair a couple of weeks ago). Not only that, but the plastic underneath the antenna film (by the troublesome screw) is slightly worn away - methinks they made a bit of a pig's ear of it really...

Sorry for bringin this thread back alive, but when I meant pictures, it wasnt aimed at you..
Aimed at anybody who would show me steps. Dont want to mess up my phone. And anyways, I took off my cover and I still dont understand the hell u were talkin about before... |
