Apparently, you have BROD in your K850. You need reinstalling your firmware with SEUS:

Thanks bro. I tried doing that, but says " You already have the latest software installed" , so the program doesn't let me install anything...after I unpressed the C- button, it goes just to "Finish"

Please help.. I don't want to send to Sony Ericsson Repair Center.

Is there a way to "erase" the actual firmware and reinstall it back?

You have two alternatives now:

1. Change your CDA number with customize_upgrade file, using a program called A2uploader, so SEUS can reinstall your firmware, or

2. Flash it yourself with A2uploader.

Check this topic so you can read more about the subject and gain confidence If you have any questions just post them.

Ok, no problem

Firmware it's made by 2 files:

- A *.fs file (Fyle System), and
- A *.mbn file (Main)

These two files are specific for each model and each version of firmware. I recommend you installing R1FA035 firmware, as it's the latest generic version. You have to choose an appropiate File System according what region you are, as this file set the languages your phone will have. I'll recomend you using Western Europe or America if you live in these regions. You can search in 4shared for these files.

Good luck

Don't forget to get the Custom file also. You'll need it to let your phone work. All files can be found at topsony.

Yes, it was a mistake of me. File System has *.fbn extension. Custom Pack its dependant what region you are. What languages had your phone or which ones you need?? And where are you located, so I can point specific files for you ..

Sí soy de Perú y hablo español

Just download the files from THIS LINK and follow the tutorial. I've already use these files once, so I'm pretty sure they will work with you

Good luck!

ohh ok...yo tambien hablo español.

Im going try that, if don't work I will let you know. ok. you are being very handsome. thank you man.

There are to files. .FBN and .MBN in the folder i downloaded. where do I have to drop them? At the same time where I actually I was dropping only the .FBN.?

I was only drooping one files and that is why (i think is not working at all)

Now, i think there is other problem, beside the real one that I posted. this is the phone turns on, the keyboard and screen illuminates and nothing else (the screen appears to be black, but I see that it is lighted in back, I don't know if you got it)

Im going to tell you in spanish...=P.

Just try it one more time, it's similar when you connect with SEUS

gracias...

I'm doing exactly you are referring at, but I was doing wrong (i think so, because I wasn't drooping the .mbn file (only the .fbn), so that was the problem. and still the problem continue unresolved, I don't what happens. As i told you I don't want sent it to Sony Repair Center, because they will delay the process and they will return it in almost a month , and I do need it urgently.

Now the problem is not at the original thread was. Now happens the following, I turn on the phone, the screens illuminates, then the light of the camera and lastly the keyboard and nothing more. The screen freezes in black, it seems to be illuminated or turned on because the color that it is, and then in a while the phone dies (turns back off)...i take off the battery, I put it back on, then I turn the cell back on and happens the same...I don't what is really happening.

thank you bro
