Receiving ringtone on T68i |

I can't get this damn thing to work, ordered a tone from a website/phone no. which sent me the tone via SMS. What then? Do I save it before opening it or what? When I saved it it was saved to the Sim card, how do I then use the tone as a ringtone????
I've done this twice already to a premium rate no. and don't want to do it again, I have the sms on my phone right now?
Any help would be appreciated!

The answer is simple- don't use those premium rate rip-offs, its probably a nokia ringtone anyway. Get your ringtones free via wap- try http://wap41.com/aled 4 some fx tones or esato.com os one of the many ringtone wap sites talked about in the forums 4 some tunes ;-)

Indeed. The nokia phones use a different thing. Called .RTTTL. And the ericsson cant understand that. Never pay for a ringtone. There are more out there than you can imagine. Also polyphonic. Try looking on www.Tagtag.Com

Thanks for the replies.
Guess it won't work then, thanks anyway. Thought it might cos during the procedure it asked me what phone I had and Ericsson was an option, guess they just want your money anyhoo
I'll try those sites suggested thanks, meantime, if anyone knows where to get the "Battlestar Galactica" ringtone from feel free to reply here, it's the one I'm after!
Cheers,
