I recently switched over from one service provider to another one.As soon as my account was activated I got two names of the new service provider one below the other displayed. How do I remove atleast one? This never happened with the earlier provider. Please help me to get rid of this nuisance as ii spoils my themes and wallpapers.

Assuming you've turned the phone off and on again, have you contacted your service provider since they send to info, your phone only displays what they send.
SE phones are notoriously hard to remove the Operator Logo from, if all else fails you may find a patch in the Software section.

First time i hear this case. Guess you'd like to remove the operator logo name. You could get an edited layout for it.

I've heard of this quite a bit in the past, and my vague memory seems to think that it output from area info or cell info, which can be found in messaging settings somewhere, so check that out

Switch off "cell info" in the message settings. If that doesn't help you might need to play around with the phone's software.
