I got a refurbished W995 from my network after having gone through a good few C905s and other various handsets. The main problem I was having with the C905 was that, after a month or so, the buttons would become noticeably stiff. Probably a cumulative issue rather that one that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. But today I think I've noticed a difference in stiffness of the keys on he W995. I'm a bit scared that the same problem I was having with the C905 might happen with this new phone I've got. Can anybody who got the phone brand new or had one for more than a month comment on this at all?

Frankly, I've been nothing but impressed with the tactility of the keys that are such a pleasure to use. The only buttons remotely close to be considered stiff would be the music keys. But that's understandable given its positioning and function and even then the press feedback is really nice unlike my old W902. I'm not too sure about your definition of stiff but after almost a month of use, the tactility for my unit hasn't changed and it's a good thing for me. Maybe you can try a test unit to compare if your keys are normal
