guys what are the configration of hp mini notebook? Does it not have a cd or dvd rom?

The HP Mini is a netbook, which is a small notebook designed mostly for web browsing and light computing. Netbooks almost all don't have CD/DVD drives as their size usually disallows it. Surely the HP website says this.

so would we have to buy some external dvd rom? Do we even get any external dvd rom to use with such notebook? I plan to buy so i want sugestions.

Yeah, buy one if you want. But it would be a pretty stupid idea to buy the HP Mini if you were going to be using/watching a lot of DVDs and CDs. For usability it would be far better to just find another notebook with a disc drive.

Prices vary hugely in different countries dude. Shop around, you'll find something.
