sennheiser CX300 are very good for bass, they now in v2 so the originals are a lot cheaper in HMV, got some myself with my 80gb Classic ipod and they sound very good.

An alt tho............ http://www.hifiheadphones.co.[....]fier-in-black-prodid-1150.html

Got one of those too and what a difference!!!!!! they have a proper volume control and not a cheap pot on the line, the bass boost does what it says but without the usual distortion, 20hrs play time and as it does the amplification the battery on your player lasts longer, highly recommended

Go for the sennheisers, the sound is very well balanced, clear and bassy there well worth the money.

No i am not a bass freak i prefer a nice amount of bass with decent clarity. Its just the Creative was tinny sounding needing more thump in the sound. I listen to rock music all the way to Classical though i hate rap soul reggae or rnb its all boring to me.
