C510a and asian languages |

I bought a C510i in Norway, that I had flashed to HK firmware in order to read jap/ch.
However, I had to hand it in to service, so I flashed it back to the Norwegian version that did not support these languages.
When I got it back and they had updated the firmware to the newest version, it did display these languages in the Nordic version. Now I managed to kill off my C510i, and as I'm moving to the US in a few days, I was contemplating getting a C510a there instead. So does anyonw know if a C510a version will display asian languages? |

If you can flash it to an asian firmware.
I remember it was possible to flash K790a to K790i firmware and keep the right bands, don't know if thats still true.

Why don't you just flash it back to HK flash?

^Because the C510i is tri-band and no US 3G bands. C510a is quad-band and has US 3G bands. |

The C510a is so much better in terms of bands, it actually has quad band AND tri-band 3G
