Dont be nervous. Just be observant and take your time. The more you do it the more confident you will get.

assuming you've passed your test, just relax and take it easy.
my son passed his test a month ago and was a little like you, but then we sat with him and found he was as safe as houses and he's just really enjoying the freedom now, and we're enjoying not being mum/dads taxi!

if you want to be really nervous, take your pilots licence and then go up with passengers for the first time when you've got no instructor there... thats really scary the first few times!

Until your remaining hairs turn completely white. Then you start to find out that you are missing things happening around you and you are not fast enough anymore.
I can tell you that now I do understand why old people drive so slowly.
Thing is, when will I decide that it is better for me to stop driving, because it is too dangerous for others and myself.
Pedestrian: don't run, my car is faster anyway.

Just drive a lot and it'll fade away. Trust yourself, all the others are crazy.

Me too first time , all you need to do is enjoying driving than i'm sure you'll understand that driving well depends not on turning left and right or respecting roadrules but on enjoying rules and be far of caps.

When you start driving it's common to get that feeling of 'too many things happening at once' which causes nervousness and can lead to indecision. That passes with practice.

I really love the 'feel' of driving - the sensation through the fingertips of the front tyres on the road, the g-forces acting on the seat, the response of the brake pedal and the snick-snick of the gear lever. When you become familiar with a car it suddenly becomes an extension of your body, like putting on a piece of clothing. At that point you'll be well and truly over any nervousness.

Many enjoyable cars are money-pits, many reliable cars aren't enjoyable.
That's why I drive a Honda.
