Hi,

Is there any way to change the firmware etc so that the Sony Ericsson K750 saves video recordings before the battery runs out?

Thanks

@cm30: Its a good idea, i hope SE implements it soon... i've lost a couple videos because of the battery, the phone should save when it reach some point, like 3-5% charge remaining, and notify the user with some audible signal...

You mean the low battery alert doesn't go off when video recording? I have a K750 (firmware R1DB001) and an alert always goes off when battery is low, and again when battery is critical (after the last one, the phone turns off before reaching the minute). I haven't tried it while video recording though. If it doesn't go off, I agree that it should, like most laptops that hibernate when reaching critical battery and saving the data.

Yes it just shows a faint red light to show battery low but sometimes dont notice it or it powers off to quickly. When not using the video camera I do get the warnings regards battery low graphic that flashes on the screen but does not do this when using video recorder.
