UPDATE: I got C901.
2 questions:
1. How do I setup iSync w/ my new C901 
2. How do I always activate my flash when taking a picture.
(For some reason, this post appears twice in the forums. I don't know why)
Hi,
I am debating b/w c702 and c902. I'm not sure if I want the k850 because I read that it had too many issues with it. I've been looking at sample pictures of both phones and I don't like either much. Please don't tell me that get c902 because it is a 5 mega-pixel camera. I was looking at some of the pictures taken with the w810 and those pictures look AMAZING!
Aren't the c902 and c702 supposed to be phones special because of their camera? But out of the two which is better? I currently have a w850.
I know that the c702 has a gps (it can be used for free by installing some software on it), resistivity, and a bigger screen. It also has dual-led flash
I know that the c902 is made of metal. It has a photo-flash.
* Which is better: photo flash or dual-led flash?
Basically, all I care about now is the picture quality at the moment. I don't know how to describe it, but I will try: when I was looking at pictures taken by the phones, the picture was blurry-ish, and the edge of lines/curves were just plain horrible. Why does the w810 pictures look better? I would get a brand new w810 if I could, but at the moment, brand new c902 and c702 are available to me at a cheaper price.
Not having either phones to test out, I am asking you guys to tell me which is better. I have read many reviews, blogs (a lot in esato in fact), and searched the internet. Which phone takes better QUALITY of picture without any software/hardware modification.
* Does the camdriver by n1 void the warranty?

Update: The price difference for me for the k850 and c902 is $10 and c702 and c902 is $90.
Update: I'm definitely gearing towards the c901. I checked, and the store can order the c901 for me and it is within my price range. Quick question though. So, the c901 doesn't come with any accessories (i'm not talking about the environmentally friendly version of the phone). Also, the c901 can do everything c902 can right?

if money not an issue, avoid C702..
it's not that the camera are worst, but the 3.2MP can't stand a chance higher 5MP from C902, K850, C901, C903 and 8MP C905..
(i know people buy cybershot because of camera, but I bought C702 because of it's splash resistant gimmick, my previous phone has become a paperweight because of water damaged )

i dont know about your phone shop policies, but when i bought my unit, the shop owner tell me as long as it's not water damage, they can fix it for free.. recently, my C702 got problem, but i know it's not because of the camdriver,
i just send it to the shop and i dont think they gonna open up every folders they can see in the A2uploader just to check the date of files.. usually newly added files are the modded one 
(but you might wanna read the T&C and ask the shop about modding thingy, i'm prety sure they can give you the correct answer)
*I suggest you buy C901.. yep, maybe the price is higher at your place, i dont know, but C901 is a 2009 model,
it got latest sms and settings layout, the camera are superb (refer to C901 thread) it's thin and no issues yet so far.. plus, all the pics you see on the net are from original C901 camdriver, there are no C901 modder around yet..according to code28h4p, the camdriver has new codings, it's different from C902 camdriver code...

go for C902 or C905
great specs and good picture quality is there in C905 and C902,,,
that's all hope it helps...

Money is a issue, but the c902 is within my capabilities. My store doesn't offer the c901. Is it possible (if you would please) show pictures by the c902 taken at 3 MegaPixels and c702 (w/o camdriver) at that resolution as well, so I can compare the picture quality of the phone. [BTW, I think the c702 is stylish, but the c902 is very stylish. XD]
In the meantime, I'll try to lookup on the c901. Thanks.
Update: lol, i like the c901. why oh why did se even release c902? r they dumb or stupid?

actually at my place C902 price is higher than C901, (C901 is RM760 while C902 is RM800) *ringgit malaysia*
and C902 is a popular buy too.. maybe because of the metal casing, front facing cam, and james bond like camera slide..
but C901 doesnt comes with M2 card or USB cable.. i bought 4GB M2 card separately around RM60.. and had to share my C702 cable.. no point i would buy another one.. it's not as important as charger.. SE even scrap the manual book, and embed the manual in the phone itself.. according to videos on youtube, SE did this because they wanted to save the world by having less 0.5kg of paper in the packaging, that's why u see even C903 box is in small size.. compared to previous high end phones like K850, C902.. the boxes are big and heavy...
in C901, everytime u finish charging, u'll get a popup message saying that "Take out the chargers from the socket as well to save electric"..
I think C901 has alot of similarities with C901 green heart.. apart from recycleable headset, power saving charger and less toxic paint on the casing

well at least they released the c902 because i have to admit, I was pretty disappointed at SE for even releasing that phone and branding it w/ cybershot. |

If you wanna camera performance, avoid C702. Its small aperture will produce worst picture at indoor/low light environment. But it was produce good macro photos.
Somehow, due both C702 and C902 use LED as light source when u take any pictures in indoor/lo-light condition couldn't resist power of xenon flash.
I just gave you an option to choose C901 becoz its camera has been show its quality even only use standard camdriver.

actually about the macro thingy, what code28h4p saying is partly correct, on paper, yes smaller aperture can take nearer objects, but in C702 case, does it handles macro shots better than C901? that's the big question.
c901- original camdriver (taken early in the morning)
c702 - N1 camdriver version 3.3b taken in the afternoon (i do change camdrivers very frequently if i see something is not right)
c901 - original camdriver
C901 - size of flower is about the size of the tip of index finger.. (too windy, also i only hold camera with one hand )
buy C901!!

well, ckygetz, i hope those pics can help you decide.. save more money if you had to.. and you'll have a big grin everytime u take a picture.. day or night (xenon pwns led.. LOL and non flash pics C901 pwns C702 too  )
