Taiwanese company Altek are to release a new mobile phone with 12 mega pixel camera 3x optical zoom Xenon flash and more. Its unconfirmed weather it will be released outside of China but it could well be. See more at http://www.gsmarena.com Its not actually all that big and also packs in every feature you could need really. Looks pretty nice. This is the future i think.

Altek is not the same as Altec Lansing!

Will be interesting to see how it performs in low light! Sharp has shown that even a CCD camera phone can shoot crappy low light shots.

Indeed though whats happened to Sharp? They made some cracking cameras for a while. I remember i took one of their camera phones the GX30 to Ireland and took photos of some relations on a beach and they were so clear. Anyway this phone is not too bad imo |
