gaurav_desi Joined: Aug 02, 2009 Posts: 2 PM	Posted: 2009-08-02 15:09 Hi I have the sony k800i. I had got it unlocked from outside. The firmware on my phone is R1JC002. Recently i was facing some problems with my phone (if my phone remains idle for a long time, im not able to receive incoming calls...the phone is not reachable) and so thought of flashing it on my own. I need some basic help on how to go about this..the firmware that i need to install exactly....and if some one has screeshots of this it wud be of great help... i do have the XS++ sw with me....i can give other software details if needed as well...but i really need some expert advice on this.... I found a post http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=154511&start=15 . but need to really confirm on the exact steps as I have never done tis before...though read a lot..... I also generated the vkp file for unlocking it. But the flashing gives a BLOCK READ ERROR if i dont select the "BYPASS DB2020 Security". And if i select that option then it says "set_gdfs_props failed, exiting" and my phone doesnt start. Elapsed:59 secs.
