i was at a concert on the 29th july (3 days ago) and it was pouring with rain. and i was using my sony ericsson C905 to take pictures and record videos in the rain. the phone was working fine until i got home and the selection keys (up/down etc.) and the rest of the keys in that section (not the keypa) were really, really hot. so i took it off charge, went to bed and the next day my phone wouldn't turn on. i have fully charged it up, but it still won't turn on.
perhaps the rain got in and my phone was overheating, but it still won't work/turn on!
what should i do? please help!
thank you so much.

didn't you get that tiny umbrella with your phone ? Take it apart as far as you can, and leave it for a day or two. If that doesn't work. . . Shame.

Remove the battery and place the phone in a warm place for a few days. Don't blow into because you exhale humid air.

I think you better stay in bed this week. Before you break anything else.

Put it in rice, and keep it there for a week. And hopefully it should get ok. I had my n96, which was fallen in a ditch of water for like 10 min. and when i found it, i kept it in rice for a month and its working now.

Don't be so happy with the phone in the repair centre. I've heard LOTS of bad stories when people send their phone in for repair.

Most of the times it goes fine. He's already in a bad mood with all that broken stuff.

my new W995i fell in the canal in amsterdam... dryed it on the hitting all night (30cm from the hitting) and in the morning turned it on,it did work but it did not recognize my sim card ... took it to the shop and they told me that they can not do anything to water damage... had it 17 days.

So W995 floats ? Who cares if you can put a W800 in every pocket of your coat.
