Like an idiot, I dropped my three week old w995 yesterday and it's now got a scuff on the side.

Neither insurance nor warranty cover cosmetic damage (I assume, haven't checked), so I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can buy a new cover for it? An officially one hopefully since the fake ones never seem to fit right.

I've checked ebay and googled but can't find any.

Thanks.

Do not buy on Ebay, 99% of them are fake.
But is there a big damage to your phone's casing?

Thanks for the reply.

There aren't any on ebay to buy, so I couldn't even if I wanted too. But thanks for the info, I don't want to buy a fake.

The damage isn;t huge, but it's noticeable and it's annoying me already, since the phone is brand new, and I'll have it for the foreseeable future, I'd rather replace the fascia.

I've just called Sony and they don't sell the fascia's, they said I'd have to send the phone off to their repair center before they'd even be able to give me a rough estimate on how much it would cost.

Only think they could suggest was calling the repair center on Monday and asking them.

Last thing I want to do is send my phone off to the repair center, I've had nothing but trouble with them in the past.

Surely it can't be this much effort to change a phone housing.
