For a start it depends if you prefer Nokia or Ericsson. The Ericsson is a lot slower, has a 256 colour screen as opposed to a 4096 colour one, is about a year older, doesn't have polyphonic ringtones, doesn't have the radio included (and the HPR-11 is crap) and is less fashionable.
Plus points for the Ericsson - better built, better sound quality, has Bluetooth, has voice recognition and the camera setup is better.
I had the T68 (upgraded software) for a year and have just upgraded to a 7210. Generally very pleased with it, and personally I think Nokia menus are a lot more logical. But I will probably move to a P800 when it's out on Orange.
Hope this helps.

I would go for the T68 since it has better menus and better and more flexible phone software (Nokia still uses the really old menus). Also the T68i with the latest software versions isn't slower than the 7210. Actually the T68 is faster than the 7210 when it comes to Wap and the menu speed is the same in both phones.
Also if you intend to use MMS at all, you should go for the T68 since the SonyEricsson MMS implementation is light years better than the crappy Nokia MMS. Nokia can't make slideshows and doesn't support sound, no timing of events.
The only plus points on the 7210 is the 4096 colors and Java and maybe polyphonic tones. But if you want polyphonic tones you should go for the T300 (24 channels) which has much better tones than the Nokia 7210 (4 channels). If you want great games also the T300 is a better choice, the Mophun games are just great.
But the T68 has stuff like Bluetooth (which is great BTW), picture phonebook (you can have a photo of the person shown when they are calling you), user definable themes (where you can edit the colors of everything in the phone). The T68 puts much better use to the color screen, than the Nokia does. |

wait 3 weeks, dude get a T68i and start practising, that way you'll get your P800 wroking much faster. and the T68i is the best phone on the market after the P800. if you P800 should have a problem are a low battery carry your T68i around you, so you can always rely on that one.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

well.. I changed my T68i to a 7210 and now I'm back with the T68i
and also cant forget my precious P800
but over all I got bored of the 7210 quite fast...
it felt incomplete.. buy a 6100 or a P800

The 6100 has an identical menu to the 7210! I used them both for ten days each. The 6100 feels more solid but compared to the t68 they are poor in many aspects. Their screens are better but they flicker after intensive use. The 7210 produces a hiss. Go t68

the flicker.. yeah.. but it's not that noticeable I find..
but dont u feel that there is something wrong about the 7210 (not the keypad)
I mean the software...
I didnt get that feel from the 6100

Even though the menus are similar, the 6100 has different graphics and no radio. It is definitely more solid than the 7210 and less toyish. But they both have a poor mms menu interface. The t68 is so much aetter in this respect. It supports voice with mms.

The S55 is very similar to the T68i with more features and slightly reduced battery life.
It has over the T68i:
1) Java
2) Faster GPRS
3) Polyphonic ring tones
4) Speakerphone
5) Reportedly much stronger RF.
I am getting one soon, almost all who have both S55 and T68i say the S55 is a T68i killer. |

I wouldn't get the 7210 most people I know have sent them back because of major firmware problems with them.
