hey i have a sony ericsson w580i that a forgot the phone lock code. is there anyway of unlocking it. sush as a master unlock code or something? |

The regular factory code is 0000. as long as you did not change it.

try using third party tools, the flashing tool, x++ or setool2lite and it has the function to identify phone's deeper info like your curren code..

i tried the program xs++ and will not detect phone. phone was turned off clicked connect held down c on phone and connected it what am i missing? |

ok i got the flash drivers and now it detects my phone but when i click on gdfd and phone lock it says invalid cid |

Log please. If its CID53 then there is no free way to read phone lock code. Use a online paid service or SETool box.
