just recently bought a T700 from a shop. whenever i charge my handset, screen only shows "charging." but when i use that same charger on my k800, it shows "optimized charging." is this normal?
another thing i observed that it is never fully charged at 100%. the highest it reached was 99%.
hope i get a quick response. coz if my phone's faulty, i still have time to have it replaced. it's still within the 7 day replacement warranty.
thanks in advance.

A200 phones don't show "optimized charging" like A100 phones do.
As for the battery charging only to 99%, I assure you it's not something you should worry about. Sometimes my C902 and my K750 do the same thing. |

It is a battery faulty the same thing happend to me when i went to fix my 6111 but the man who fixed my phone was a hustler he replaced my original battery with another one and now even when i live my phone in charger the hole night i notice that it keep s charging when i chek it at the morning and the battery get empty quickly .so my advice is to ask theme to give you another battery or better replace your phone with another one before it s too late

Its certainly not a faulty battery. Your questions have been asked a lot of time in the past (just so you know i also own a T700). The charging prompt changed a while ago before the A200 platform was available so its nothing to worry about. As for the battery. If your charging with the phone turned on. Wait until it shows full and if you get 99% leave the charger plugged in and power off the phone. You will see the charging indicator again. Wait until it says Fully Charged and turn your phone on again leaving the charger plugged in still. You will notice the battery indicator flashing to indicate it's charging. Wait until it finished and check the battery status with the charger plugged in. If it still doesn't show 100% repeat all the above and it will eventually show 100%. This does work and has been tried on various SE phones by myself and also by other members.

thanks for the info, guys. at least i won't have to waste my time dropping by the shop anymore. really enjoying the phone's features and dimensions. coming from a k800, it's quite a slim phone. there had been a number of times wherein i thought i had lost/misplaced my T700, only to find out it's still inside my pocket.
