FS/FT: Unlocked, boxed black HTC Touch Diamond |

I've decided to part with my HTC Touch diamond WinMo 6.1 phone, which is unlocked, and boxed with it's charger, software CD, USB lead, and headphones. Phone is in a used condition, I'd say 7/10 for condition. The touchscreen is in very good condition, just one mark/light scratch on it which doesn't affect usability at all.
Offers welcome, as are trades. I'm particularly interested in phones like the Xperia X1, perhaps other HTC devices and certainly some sort of Android handset.
Will get pics up shortly

Here are some pictures and a bit more info on the phone. It was originally on Vodafone so has a bit of their branding on the case and startup/shutdown screens, plus the Live! menu on the standby screen. Screen a bit more marked than I thought, see pictures, also some on the back cover as is common with this model. Running Windows Mobile v6.1 and the TouchFLO interface. Quite a compact phone for what it does and very light. A few features if your unfamiliar with the phone - HSDPA, 3.2mp AF camera (Takes good pics), front facing VGA cam, full touchscreen with handwriting recognition, pop up keyboard (which is a QWERTY one which is great for texting with!), MSN, etc.

Some heavier usage marks round the stylus storage bit:

Would this work FULLY with the 'Three' network ?
I have the internet browsing package and thus would I be able to surf the net upon your phone ?

I haven't tried the phone on 3 so couldn't say for sure, though I bet with the '3' settings installed it should work without any problems, but I can't guarantee that
Don't know if they still do but 3 had some odd ways of doing things compared to the other networks!

Thanks for the confirmation, I was pretty sure but didn't want to say for certain just in case!

dont mean to piss on the sale fellas but be careful about using it on three.
i took advice recently stating 3g phones are all fine with three sims but unfortunately its easier said than done.
myself and fatreg both have extensive phone experience, fatreg is literally a guru, but neither of us could get the valid settings to work. All i could do was make and receive calls along with receiving texts. Three also couldnt help having tried several times to send settings and manually install them. eventually they gave up as nothing worked. i have since sold the phone i bought specifically to put my three sim in. The stores arent allowed to help as its not their handset and the online settings wont send through correctly as the IMEI is not recognised as their handset.
that was a tytn II which they actually stock.
my advice would be to get a seller to verify working settings are on the phone prior to buying or stick with three handsets. i know how fustrating the latter is as im a massive HTC fan and lost my original TYTN II from them with no insurance

Don't worry Jangles, I'd rather the correct information was put here so as not to mislead anyone
Therefore I'll say that I CANNOT guarantee that the phone will work on 3 except for calls/texts, so it's a case of caveat emptor, if you buy this to use on 3 for internet/online use I can't give any guarantees it'll work and it'll be at your risk, NO refunds if you buy it and it won't connect to the 'net.
Oh dear, that last bit does sound a bit heavy! Wish I could remember jokes better or I'd put one here!
Back on topic, I'm buying an SE X1 off of here so need to recoup some money soon so get those offers in! Looking ideally for around the £160 mark. I might accept trades, let me know what you've got

I say it out of experience as I had a touch diamond last september and set it up on three, with not too many problems. I just needed to manually input the internet settings.
Wasn't just talking out of my bum, just fyi

RLP06 im coming to you next time i buy a decent handset then.
i trust your opinions, i think it was actually your original advice for me that it would be ok but we could not set this TYTN II up at all. the settings were eventually entered manually and confirmed as correct but the thing would just not work

Hmmm, a couple of conflicting opinions there!
Back on topic, I'd be very interested in a trade for an HTC G1, as long as it's unlocked as I'll be using it on O2. Or indeed any other Android phones - though if it's a Magic it'd best be the black version, as my wife has the white one and it'll be very confusing if we both have white ones!
Failing that cash offers please
