I have an N86 and find the camera quality to be brilliant.
However, I am a SE fan and was wondering what users of the W995 thought regarding the quality of the N86?
Don't think this has been discussed yet
Also, what about the rest of the phone, i.e. common features, e.g. kickstand, music player, OS etc.
Thanks in advance!

Im not a W995 user, but dam i love that N86!
Its got two great advantages over the SE, 1st of all is a smartphone with tons of software to extdend its functionality.
2nd, its a flagship NOKIA, its going to get LOADS of improvements through FW updates. 1st of all the Web browser is going to get quite an upgrade soon AFAIK.
It already has Flashlite3.1 but when Flash10 is out the N86 will recieve Flash10 support, and lots of other additions NOKIA will give it, expect FW updates for a good 2-2.5years. its certainly not going to be limited, like "dumb" phones.
Music Player is very smart, i dont know if SE have this in their Walkmans, but what NOKIA has been doing for the past 2.5years is that their music player allows you to edit the Id3tags, add album art etc. . . without having to go to a dam PC,also having a playlist named Recently Added, which allows listening to the tracks you've most recently added obviously, its very useful esp.If you have loads of music, and want to listen only to what you added.
In the N86 you have a 8GB headstart, so when you add a 8GB MicroSD you will have 16GB etc. . . . W995 is a lovely phone though, id feel very limited with it though.

N86 has wide angle lens and you can adjust aparture or something like that which is a first on a phone i think. Does the N86 have Xenon though? Only thing i dont like with the Nokia is i dont like Symbian its slow unless its improved lately my last Symbian phone was the N73. But i still love the Sony Ericsson though. |

your choice should have been between the N86 and Samsung Innov8. W995 is an easy pick if you're really not into smartphone |

You really can not compare the 2 since they're in different categories.
You're comparing apples to oranges!
N86 is a smartphone and should be compared against other smartphones.
SE will be coming out with their new smartphones by the Fall/Winter 2009, unless delayed.
There will probably lots of comparisons when the SE phones are released!
W995 is SE's Flagship phone for 2009 for the media phones.
It's best compared to other phones with media players like Nokia's ExpressMusic phones which are made for music.
There are already comparisons made but most look like they lean towards the w995.
This is probably the LAST Walkman phone according to SE news reports in which SE is planning on merging the Walkman and Cybershot (camera) phone lines into one for future phone models!
Just wait until later this year when the new SE smartphones/Android phone is released then start comparing!

I'm fan of nokia so i'll go with n86...bt i really love n95 8g,w/c has a 5mp...nokia n95 still worth 24000,even if it lo0ks obsolete for so many new units that nokia have in the market...dat only means that it has really a go0d quality phone. |

The n86 is so tempting, but it's still a Nokia
Why couldn't the w995 camera quality atleast be on par with the C905, why ?!?!?!?!
